Paula Fonseca

Paula Fonseca is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Viseu, Portugal. She holds a PhD in Advanced English Studies and has over 30 years of experience teaching English and Spanish for Specific Purposes in higher education. She has contributed to several international projects, presented her research at international conferences, and published in peer-reviewed international journals. She is an integrated researcher at the Centre for Studies in Education and Innovation at the Polytechnic University of Viseu and a member of the Consortium of Virtual Exchange. Her research interests include virtual exchange and intercultural collaboration, generative artificial intelligence in higher education, technology-enhanced foreign language teaching and learning, cognitive linguistics, political humor, and tourism and hospitality.
